Wenger accuses referees for his wards defeat at Manchester City

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has angrily accused referee Martin Atkinson who was in-charge of his wards 2-1 defeat at Manchester City on Sunday, December 18, 2016 claiming the center man was bias in his officiating.

Former Southampton player Theo Walcott put the Gunners ahead in the 5th minutes, but goals from Leroy Sane and Raheem Sterling condemned Arsenal to a defeat in a tough Premier League game.
Arsene Wenger has now explained that his boys were denied of a victory by the referee stressing that Manchester City's two goals should not have been recorded.
''It is very difficult to accept because the two goals are offside and enough is enough of these type of decisions.

''This is totally not acceptable because it was a cruel decision against us and the officials are protected like lions in the zoo,'' Wenger said
Arsenal now occupy fourth position on the Premier League standings with 34 points after 17 games, and the Gunners are nine points behind leaders Chelsea.
