Kwara Mutual conflict: four people comfirmed dead


The Kwara State Police charge has affirmed that no less than two people have been left dead in a group conflict between Odo-Owa and Ilofa people group in the Oke-Ero Neighborhood Government Region of Kwara State.
It was assembled that inconvenience began when the Olota of Odo-Owa, Oba Adeyemi Adimula, drove his group amid their new yam celebration to Odo-Owa Market, which was likewise utilized by Oke-Ero people group.
It was learnt that Oke-Ero people group kept the Odo-Owa individuals from celebrating in the market, which prompted the conflict.
Another source said the emergency was caused by a difference over offer of yams.
It was accumulated that the associates of the Alofa of Ilofa, Oba Niyi Dada, needed to offer the ruler's yams before any other individual in the market. Individuals from Odo-Owa people group allegedly kept Alofa's helpers.
The Police Advertising Officer, Kwara State charge, Mr. Ajayi Okasanmi, affirmed the conflict, including that he had no data of the demise.
Okasanmi stated, "There was a misconception between the two groups over a market. The Chief of Police, Mr. Lawan Ado, had conveyed policemen in the zone."
